Since opening in 1997 the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre has become Canada’s premier cardiac centre. It is one of the largest multidisciplinary programs of its kind in the world, focusing on excellence in clinical care, research, innovation and teaching.

Funds raised from the "2024 Have a Heart" Charity Golf Tournament “Drive for 5” will have a significant impact on the care patients receive at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre by helping us redevelop a very important operating facility: the cardiac catheterization laboratories with the most advanced imaging technology.

 

A regional, national, and international referral centre for patients with the most complex heart disease, our team of experts in the cardiac catheterization laboratories together perform more than 10,000 life-saving procedures a year. This important investment in the cardiac catheterization laboratories will ultimately translate into quicker recovery time for our patients, leading to a shorter hospital stay.
